Continuous Basalt Fiber (CBF) filaments are great innovative reinforcement material. Due to high heat resistance, high stability in aggressive medias, substantial sound absorption and enormous physical durability basalt fiber has the potential to oust glass fiber from various industrial applications and thus opens new fields of application. Continuous basalt fiber is becoming more and more popular alternative to traditional fibers because of its mechanical, chemical and ecological advantages and relatively low price.
